Police make arrest in hit-and-run

Town of Elon police arrested Robin Ragsdale on Thursday after she admitted to hitting Toorialey Fazly, who was riding to campus on his bike.
This is not the first motor related accident Ragsdale has been involved in. In 2007, Ragsdale was found guilty on four counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and her license was suspended. She’s still on probation.
According to a press release, Ragsdale, who lives at 500 James Toney Dr. in Elon, admitted to striking Fazly. She said she panicked and left the scene.
Ragsdale is charged with Felony Hit and Run. Officer Candace Ripple said she is being held in Alamance County Jail on $100,000 secure bond.
