Raw Video: President Lambert and Dr. Jackson speak at College Coffee
By Laura Levitt
President Leo Lambert and Dr. Smith Jackson spoke at College Coffee on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 to address the two incidents involving racial slurs.
Over the past week the student body received two emails about separate incidents in which a racial slur was directed at a student.
President Lambert and Dr. Jackson were proud to see many Elon students uniting against racism and discrimination. They also encouraged students to report incidents regarding discrimination and to take a stand against discrimination.
Students, faculty and staff wore stickers that read “not on our campus.”
President Lambert told the students that Campus Security is investigating the incidents.
