More winter weather expected this week

The latest round of weather forecasts call for more winter weather at Elon this week.

Winter 2010

Local news outlets, including The Times-News and local CBS affiliate WFMY News2 are reporting that Elon will see light-to-moderate snow late Tuesday and into Wednesday.

Both forecasts say high temperatures– in the 40s to 50s– will keep snow away during the day on Tuesday.  But temperatures dip to near freezing overnight Tuesday which could create the chance for rain to turn into snow.
